In 2012, along with some great friends I built two Inis Boffin style Currachs with artist, friend and boat builder Mark Redden. The two boats were part of the Artists Armada in Grand Canal Basin in 2015; an exhibition about artist-made boats, boat making techniques and being on the water, The Artists' Armada was a curatorial project uniting works by artists engaging with boats, rafts and watercraft; whether building, sailing or otherwise employing the element of water as voyagers and explorers.
